Before starting the design stage, we took a full assessment of the desires and needs of the owner. They wanted to utilize a small area in their living for a full wine cellar build-out. They wanted to showcase their wine collection with elegance and maximize the storage capacity of their space.

A sleek wine cellar design has minimal or no curves at all. Instead, it leans towards clean lines. Monochromatic colors or neutral colors are used. We mounted the metal wine racks on a wall to maximize the small space. We used the Ultra Wine PEG system, which utilizes stainless steel rods installed on a backboard.

Each bottle is cradled on two pegs, with the cork facing out. The middle section is the focal point of this wine room because it is custom-made. It consists of larger cradles to accommodate the large format bottles in the client’s collection. The bottles are stored horizontally, showing the wine labels for convenience in reading.
