Newly Installed Stunning Custom Wine Cellar Chicago Illinois – Naperville

The Anil custom wine cellar was built in Naperville, Illinois, a suburb of Chicago, Illinois. It is located off of the family’s bar and entertainment area. Always a challenge for wine cellar builders, closet conversions like this wine room had a very limited amount of space to work with. The look of the wine cellar was very important as the front was to be all glass and a window on the right-hand side. We managed to create a total capacity of 497 wine bottles into this residential custom wine room with dedicated wine cellar lighting to really show off the design features.

At 3.5′ by 7.75′, we had to create a design that looked appealing whilst maximizing the storage capacity. The wine cellar includes large front windows and a clear custom wine cellar door that shows off the unfinished premium redwood custom wine racks and is engineered to properly seal the refrigerated wine room. A glass rack is over the tabletop which matches the racking. A high reveal display row continues from the left wall across the back and onto the right wall. One of the best, most attractive features is the waterfall wine racking which was designed on both sides so that the bottles will display beautifully through the windows.

The Anils chose a Whisperkool  XLT 3000 wine cellar cooling unit with an upgraded PDT thermostat.
